Day 2 – Munich
Explore the beautiful city of Munich by taking in sights such the National Theater with the Royal Palace, the Palace of Nymphenburg and Marienplatz the most historic and most scenic square of Munich’ old town, in a private chauffeured vehicle with a driver-guide. You will visit the Viktualienmarkt Beer Garden, located only two minutes away from Marienplatz to get a taste of the Bavarian beer culture. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy great beer while contemplating at all the amazing sights you have seen on this tour. Beer and snack are included.

Day 3 – Munich
In the midst of the German Alps, the magnificent towers of Neuschwanstein Castle rise in all their majestic splendor it is simply breathtaking. Set in one of the world’ most beautiful locations, the castle overlooks the idyllic 700 year old, medieval village of Füssen. The panoramic view from the Marienbruecke (the bridge high above the castle and gorge) is spectacular with unspoiled natural lakes and valleys stretching far into the distant horizon. Linderhof Palace, located near Oberammergau in southwest Bavaria near Ettal Abbey, is the smallest of the three castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one of which he lived to see its completion. The Palace and its surrounding park is one of the most artistic and stylistically complex ensembles of the 19th century. Entrance fees are to be paid locally.

Day 4 – Munich To Salzburg To Welcome
Discover the wonders of Salzburg during a half day private tour of the city. Salzburg, known as the town of Mozart, features historical buildings and impressive architectural attributes. The city is the birthplace and hometown of Wolfgang Mozart, and some say that you can still hear the tones of the musical ‘The Magical Flute’ and the ‘Sound of Music’ from they alleyways and historic walls. Your professional guide will provide with insight into the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque features of the city as Mozart saw it. You will end the tour with a visit to the newly reopened Mozart Residence on Makart Square. Before Mozart moved in, the lodging was inhabited by a dancing master that educated youngsters on how to dance and behave. The residence was formerly referred to as ‘the dancing master’ house’ (Tanzmeisterhause). Here, you will have the opportunity to see an informative multi-media show.

Day 5 – Salzburg
Today, you will be led by an English-speaking guide on a 4-hour Sound of Music tour. You will take a ride through the breathtaking landscapes where the opening scenes of the musical were shot. Relax and listen to the original Sound of Music soundtrack. The professional guide will show you the highlights of the film, as well as, the historical and architectural landmarks of the city. Furthermore, you will get the chance to enjoy the picturesque lake district. Highlights of the tour include the Mirabell Gardens, Leopoldskron Castle, Hellbrunn Castle, Nonnberg Abbey, St. Gilgen, Lake St. Wolfgang and the Wedding Church Mondsee.

Day 6 – Salzburg To Vienna
Spend an enjoyable 4 hours with a private tour guide, driver, and vehicle, exploring the city of Vienna. This tour will provide you with an overall impression of the most significant sights of the city. Along the Ringstrasse, admire numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the showrooms of Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. The entrance fee to the Schonbrunn Palace is included.

Day 7 – Vienna
Enjoy a full day excursion to the Wachau Valley, which is an Austrian region near the Danube River. During a romantic and scenic boat ride, the history and legends of the Danube come alive as you wind your way through charming old villages, steep vineyards, and castles. The heart of the Wachau is Krems, an old wine merchant town. You will also have the opportunity to visit Melk, the “Cradle of Austria,” and the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, a pearl of Austrian Baroque. You may bring your own lunch or take the chance to try local cuisine at the Abbey restaurant in Melk. The tour finishes at the Opera House in Vienna. Entrance fees to the Melk Monastery and the boat ride are included. During the winter season, lunch is also included.

Play-Away® is our specially designed layaway program that provides our members the ability to spread out their payments over time, prior to their vacation, making booking any of our packages easy and affordable. We have created a number of vacation packages specifically for the Play-Away® program. Some of the vacations will be All-Inclusive and include many amenities such as meals, beverages, some alcohols, and more. Inclusions will be detailed on the destinations page and/or hotels website. In some instances airfare will be included, but only if specified. Vacations may also include spa treatments, golf, theme park tickets, etc. as upgrade options.
Play-Away® is available to anyone who resides in the United States of America, is over 21 years of age and is a current member. All payments scheduled must be paid on or before the final payment date. You may payoff your balance early by contacting our customer service department at 877-532-2800 9am – 5pm Pacific Standard time Monday – Friday. All payments will be processed automatically each month beginning 30 days after the initial deposit is made. Your booking is contingent on the completion of all of the layaway payments. Any declined/returned payments are subject to a $35 returned item fee and will automatically be resubmitted a week later unless you contact us to schedule on a specific date. A courtesy email or invoice may be sent to you in order for your to complete the transaction.
Package Cancellations:
You may cancel your package within 72 hours for a full refund of the initial deposit. After 72 hours any refunds will be subject to a cancellation fee. Trips may not be canceled within 60 days of the travel dates. Additionally, you are responsible for any cancellation fees applied by the hotel as well as any costs for entertainment tickets that have been purchased for the package. Additionally, if any airfare is included in the All-Inclusive package, it is not cancellable or transferable, therefore it is nonrefundable.
